If sorrow were my only
venture, and sorrow will be my only friend, sorrow is neither passive nor aggressive it is sadness and devastation, and humility, if
our worlds collide and they have,no sense shall be made of the causes and concerns, and the misappropriate items can be appropriated
to fit the shape and size of the misinformation misleading all that concerns you,.. all that is about you,all that determine
the hate and the rage and the emptiness that follows, all the way through........Eternity,not as we see it,as we smell eternity,as
we love,as we live, the silence grows........never reaching the highest high but accepting the lowest low,and absorbing the
lowest low it guides me,it consumes me,somehow, never reaching the sky,....owing it to myself.......the pain the devastation
the fighting that goes on in my mind,in my body,in my Soul, devastation beyond the control, beyond mortal man,I can not climb
mountains,I can not swim the Ocean,I can not live,I can die, many deaths, many times, come and tell the soldiers its alright, the
Battle Zone, the strength God gives us, to again suffer just enough to smell the death, remembering the words,Thou shall not
kill,........Never reaching the sky.........Piloting the death march........always afraid.....Barbara
It was Paris Island,South Carolina, that place was a piece of heaven the memories we made can
never be beat, we had such fun,and not on the street. The forts we built there in the woods, living in them from
dawn till dusk. remember the rope hanging over the bay our parents would have died if they'd known what we did, holding
on and, swinging off into the lagoon, and remember the times we caught blue crabs, and cooked them on the beach, hiding
all of the time from the military police Terri,Linda,Catsu,Debbie and I, remember catching all of those dragonflys, I
often hope and pray, you got a fair shake out of life, since that day, I remember the Pow Wows we always had, our
secret meetings under the slide on the playground. it seems the older I get the more they come round, those childhood
memories, and the friends I had found.

is there a difference between you and me everlasting eternity
sucks you up like a vacuum, churning and burning all around,
and the answer just cant be found,
only looking at the wall,
thats not the way to see it at all,
you have to reach high to touch the sky, moving like a swan, buzzing
like a bee,flying like a bird,into eternity,dont close your eyes
or you'll miss it all, open them wide ,
there is so much to see,
before we get to eternity,
Heaven on earth is all around, found in the mountains in the valley
on the ground,
smell and feel,exited and see,
the feeling you'll get heading towards eternity.

Rosa Parks you see didn't give
up easily she wanted to sit where she pleased and wasn't going to the back of the bus she made a lot of muss and
fuss
Look I'm human,as human as can
be I've got my own thoughts and can make up my mind If I want to sit in front or behind my forefathers fought
for the rights of you and me so the fight is over and done I know for a fact I am a lucky one I am in a free country so
don't try to wipe your feet on me treat me with respect dignity I won now I can sit anywhere
